little bobbins knits - episode thirty two

Happy Monday everyone.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been in touch over the last couple of weeks, to the new members of the Ravelry group, to the lovely people who have subscribed on YouTube and the hugest thank you to those of you who are returning to the podcast, it really means such a lot.

Between the rambling this week I have lots of works in progress and a couple of finished objects to share, I also have some very lovely things to show you and I announce a new giveaway. Thank you to knitterjo2,  agnesknit and peckiepeck for your questions in the 'what would you like to see on the podcast' thread.

knitterjo2 and agnesknit asked me what cast on I use for my socks and peckiepeck asked about good sock patterns for beginning sock knitters and asked for yarn recommendations - do you have any patterns ideas or yarn recommendations to add?

Julie from Suffolk Socks has very kindly offered 2 balls of Regia Tweed to giveaway. Pop over to the thread to enter the giveaway and join Julie's group where she will be hosting lots more giveaways.

Buffy Socks to practice on my new knitting belt. Yarn from British Bea Knits. My knitting belt was very generously given to me by Karen from Bobnweave on Etsy. Karen hand makes wonderful knitting belts and sells the extra long dpns to use with them. I will talk more about my experiences with my knitting belt in a future episode.

Check out this video of Hazel Tindall using a knitting belt - amazing!!
