I'm very sorry that these show notes were so delayed!
Happy Monday everyone.
Thank you so much to everyone who has been in touch over the last week, to the new members of the Ravelry group, to the lovely people who have subscribed on YouTube and the hugest thank you to those of you who are returning to the podcast, it really means such a lot.
This weeks episode feels rather somber and my brain is a little foggy with slightly unsettled thoughts. I have some thanks to give, some works in progress to show you - including one that's not even mine, I have some lovely things to show you, we have a little interruption from mum and we draw for the winner of the lovely Fondant Fibre goodies give-away.
Works in Progress
My Tweed Socks are currently plain but I'm wondering if they would like to be a different pattern like this one Lena is doing or perhaps this lovely pattern designed by Kemper Wray of the JunkYarn podcast.
Scrappy Weekender using the Weekender Blanket by Sandra Paul in sock yarn scraps
Large Pebble Beach test knit for Helen of Curious Handmade in The Uncommon Thread Heavenly Lace in the Salty Air colour way.
I also show the Pebble Beach I knit last year out of handspun yarn spun from a beautiful braid from Sara's Texture Crafts
Mum's quilt project for her friends grandchild
I received a lovely package from Robin in the Cup Cosy Swap - thank you Robin!
Robin has recently started a podcast check out Stitching Between Pages
I picked up some lovely fabrics from 'Stitchery do' in Wokingham
