I got sewing and made a prototype using some linen I dyed and some super cute linen I got from the Knitting and Stitching Show last year
It was nearly a big waste as I cut the front and back far too small, maths and I have a somewhat challenging relationship! I couldn't bear the thought of wasting the lovely spider fabric so I carried on and sewed it together with the skinniest seams ever and it's snug but my Kindle fits inside! Yippie!!
So maths and I had a bit of a chat, I added on a couple of inches here and there and made this one for mum ....
.... with the same hand-dyed linen and also some completely lovely striped linen and a porcelain button I made.
Mother's Day came and I gave mum her gift along with a card I had also made and we went for a sushi feast - lovely day
I was so pleased with how the Kindle cases worked out I have decided to make some for my shop.
I cut out lots of little bits of appliqué using some of my favourite designs .....
and got sewing....
Exciting :)
They will fit the Kindle 4 and the Paperwhite.
Do you read on a Kindle? What would you like on your case?

Unfortunately I don't have a Kindle, but I do love the wicked witch with her green face!!
