Here's what I put in mine -

1. strips of washi tape 2. all kinds of papers - painted, sewn, scrapbooking, packaging, stamps and doilies 3. ribbons and lace 4. paper seals and tags 5. stickers 6. punched papers and stickers |
To decorate the envelope I took it apart at the sides and sewed on some pretty papers and some lace and I put all the littlest bits in little baking paper envelopes which I also sewed. I love baking paper envelopes, they are translucent like glassine envelopes which I love the look of but I can't find in the UK.
I hope my swapee likes it, I certainly had lots of fun putting it together and thank you Kelly for organising it :D
I also take part in a monthly card swap over in the Tiny Owl Knits group on Ravelry. Each month we get someone new to send a card to (and anything else we fancy).
This month I had someone who likes foxes a lot so I went all foxy themed. I made a little notebook out of a manilla folder and on it I drew a fox (it's supposed to be a fox anyway!), put in some animal stickers (of which some are foxes), a big fox paperclip and 3 teeny tiny foxy coloured pencil crayons and tied it all up with some orange ribbon. I put it all in another of my baking paper envelopes which I sewed with orange thread and finished it off with an orange tag. I do love a colour theme :)
Have you sent any fun packages lately?

You have been a busy little bee! Wow, I've never done stuff like that. Looks like a lot of fun.

It is definitely a lot of fun Bimbi! My studio is a mess now though - there was paper flying everywhere :D
