little bobbins knits - episode fifty one

Thank you so much to everyone who has been in touch over the last week, to the new members of the Ravelry group, to the lovely people who have subscribed on YouTube and the hugest thank you to those of you who are returning to the podcast, it really means such a lot.

My lovely mum is joining me again today and we chat a bit about our current projects, a workshop we went on together and some things we have finished recently.

I drew for the winner of the 50 episode giveaway but my battery was being troublesome and I forgot to announce the winner, I will in the next episode.

Works in Progress

Mum and I had a chat about the Jessie Chorley workshop we went on at Loop and showed our projects from the day.

We mentioned our favourite pens for drawing on fabric the Pilot Frixon pens  and mums favourite tool the Clover Needle Threader.

Mum showed us her progress on her English paper pieced quilt and an appliqu├ęd table runner she is making for me

I showed my progress on my Iris cardi and my Talisman shawl. I'm using some lovely stitch markers to mark my progress from Pink Valley Creations

Mum showed her finished bunny that she made using a kit from Liberty Bell

I also showed my 3 Colour Cashmere shawl which still needs to be blocked.

little bobbins knits - episode forty nine

We are outside for a bit today, its a little windy and the wildlife is a little distracting but my sun worshipping little pup wanted to be outside - who am I to refuse. 

I have lots to share with you today including a few works in progress and a couple of rather well worn finished object. I tell you about my trip to Wonderwool and I draw prizes for the little along  and I show you some of the lovely things I have been making for the shop.

little bobbins knits - episode 48

This week I asked my mum to join me for the podcast and I was thrilled that she said yes. So we have some works in progress and some finished objects to show you, there is a little bit of spinning chat and I had to rush through some lovely things as my battery was running out - I think i will talk about them again next week.
